Abstract:
The pH values of different types of soils in the main sugarcane producing areas of Guangdong and Guangxi were measured. The amount of calcium carbonate and dolomite powder needed to adjust the pH value of soil to 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5 was measured, and the value which is original value subtracted from the adjusted pH value as the independent variable (x), and the application amount calcium carbonate as the dependent variable (y, unit: kg/mu), and the mathematical simulation was carried out to obtain the mathematical equation of acid improvement of different types of soil, which provides the basis for the improvement of acid soil of different soil types. The results are as follows: 1. The pH value of the soil in the sugarcane producing area of Guangdong and Guangxi is 3.72-5.50, and the amount of calcium carbonate or dolomite powder needed to be applied to adjust to the pH value of the soil (which is 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5) is greatly different due to the soil type,and the basalt soil requires the least amount of them; 2. The mathematical equation and correlation coefficient of the acid soil improvement are respectively: Red Soil in the fourth century: y = 225.9x-106.65, correlation coefficient r = 1; shallow sea sediment occurrence Cultivated soil: y = 226.13x-48.007, r = 0.9996; basalt developed soil: y = 182.84x-69.464, r = 0.9905, Where x is the difference value between the target pH value to be adjusted minus the pH value of the soil before adjustment, y is the amount of calcium carbonate to be applied (unit: kg / mu).
